Our Residents Association has
been in existence since the 1980’s and its prime objective is to preserve and
improve the amenities of Balsall Common.
The Association represents all
residents of the “village” or “settlement” of Balsall Common including both
Balsall and Berkswell parishes. Residents are automatically members of the
Association; there are no membership fees.
Meetings are held every month,
normally on the first Tuesday of the month with an Annual General Meeting,
normally in April. All residents are welcome to attend these meetings. The
officers of the Association are elected annually at the AGM.
The Association is represented on
various local consultative organisations including the Airport, Solihull MBC and
Rural Sector Policing.
Local issues are our primary
concern; frequently the topics will include anti-social behaviour, planning applications,
traffic and environmental matters (litter etc).
The CommUnicator is the
Residents Association newsletter (sent in Microsoft Word format) to all
residents willing to receive it. It comprises of latest news, police
reports, important planning applications and village gossip! If you would
like to be added to our mailing list, please email the address below.
